Airline joins Amadeus and Unicef ​​to become the next partner of Click for Change

For 98 years, Avianca’s mission has been clear: to always offer more. This philosophy extends beyond our work as an airline. That is why we are honored to be the first Latin American airline to join the United Nations Children’s Fund (Unicef) and Amadeus to support the development of children in Latin America through the Click for Change campaign.

With just one click when booking your Avianca.com, travelers can donate $ 1, $ 5 or $ 10, which goes directly to the Unicef ​​Regional Education Program in Latin America. This micro-donation tool, made possible through Amadeus technology, will contribute to quality education and to universal learning spaces for needy children and adolescents in the countries of the region.

The Click for Change campaign is a powerful example of how the technology and reach of global travel can impact projects for social development. The campaign has already raised more than $ 2,800,000, giving travelers the option of donating when finalizing the purchase of an air ticket. Avianca is confident that our participation will help increase this number even more, to truly make a difference in the lives of children in Latin America.
