Avianca Brasil has published in its portal some changes regarding the norms of the luggage and tariff classes, separating explanations in hand luggage, dispatched and special items. Each indication varies with the weight and size of the bag.
The airline places these changes in the fare classes of the aircraft and there are variations in the limits and benefits regarding this aspect in each type of trip and fares.
Luggage
- Hand baggage
This will be carried free of charge by the adult traveler or child in the cabin, under the responsibility of the cabin, within the maximum weight and dimensions established. If baggage is exceeded, baggage must be checked.
Size: 115 cm (added to the three dimensions, being at most 35 cm wide, 55 cm high and 25 cm long.
Maximum weight: 10 kg (adult); 5 kg (baby – 0 to 23 months)
- Checked baggage
It shall be transported in the aircraft holds and within the following positions:
Size: 158 cm, plus the three dimensions (height, width and length)
Maximum weight: 23 kg (adult) and 10 kg (baby – 0 to 23 months)

For domestic flights, the categories in force are:
- Promo (no baggage allowance)
- Economy (one piece of 23 kg (each) included)

- Flex (one piece of 23 kg (each) included)
- Business Promo (two pieces of 23 kg each)

On flights to the United States:
