Argentine arrival in Ceará has increased by 154%

It is practically impossible for Ceará not to participate in FIT Buenos Aires, one of the most important fairs in Latin America. To get a sense of the importance of this market, the arrival of Argentines in the state grew 154% in July this year, compared to the same period of 2016, at the height of the holiday season mid-year. The information was disclosed by the executive secretary of Tourism of Ceará, Luciana Lobo, who represents the state alongside marketing coordinator, Livia Rolim.
“In July, during the high season, we had a 154% increase in the number of Argentines, compared to the same month last year. The accumulated growth for this year is 12.1%, “said Luciana, who also commented on the expectation of the high summer season 2017/18. “If you base yourself on what happened during the high season in the middle of the year, a period in which there was a significant increase, it is to be believed that it will be a better summer season than last season 2016/17,” the secretary said.
Luciana still remembered the work done not only in the capital Buenos Aires but also in other major Argentine cities. “Two weeks ago, for example, we were here doing a roadshow. Ceará is always working the Argentine market and not only in the capital Buenos Aires, but also in other major cities like Rosario and Cordoba, “he said. “It is a public that is very interested in beaches and resorts, in which Ceará has significant offers, and everything is fed by the direct flight to Buenos Aires that is held on Saturdays by Gol.”
