Bogotá becomes the new Salvador route

Bahia strengthens its strategic policy of attracting tourists with the new Salvador-Bogotá route that starts operations next Friday (15). The inaugural flight will be celebrated by the airline, together with the Secretariat of Tourism of Bahia and leaders of the tourist trade.

“Salvador is one of the focal cities in our network, with direct links to eight destinations. For São Paulo alone, there are eight daily operations. We have identified a strong demand for passengers who prefer to travel to Colombia or to other countries in the Americas via Bogota, the hub of our partner Avianca Internacional. The advantage for these customers is that they do not have to disembark in Rio de Janeiro or Guarulhos to make international connections, “said the president of Avianca Brasil, Frederico Pedreira.

For the Secretary of Tourism of Bahia, José Alves, the new frequency ensures comfort for Colombian visitors interested in coming to Bahia and favors the policy of increasing tourism activity. “We are structuring itineraries and products in order to offer high quality services, since we have unparalleled attractions such as sun and beach, historical-cultural and gastronomy, among others,” says the secretary.
