In Rio de Janeiro, hotels are already half of the occupation for New Year’s Eve

About two months into New Year’s Eve, Rio’s hotels already have 50% of the reserved rooms. Next to Riotur, ABIH-RJ will have an unprecedented press release promoting the cities that make up 90% of the Rio de Janeiro visitors mix: São Paulo, Minas Gerais, Porto Alegre, Brasilia and Goiânia. The action, called Roadshow #vemprorio, is visiting, in October and November, strategic destinations to present the latest in infrastructure, new tourist facilities and the most modern hotel chain in the country, as well as the new calendar ‘Rio de Janeiro to January ‘, which begins this New Year’s Eve.

The expectation is to close the turn with more than 90% of the rooms occupied in the city, which would be an excellent performance, in view of the large increase in bedding in recent years, “explains the businessman.
