The Casa de Portinari Museum – an institution of the São Paulo State Culture Secretariat managed by ACAM Portinari – in Brodowski (35 km from Ribeirão Preto), has a special cultural program for those who want to enjoy the Carnival with lots of art.

On Saturday and Sunday, February 10 and 11, the “Legal Family” action takes place, a guided tour of the museum that ends with questions and answers, puzzle, memory and other activities that complement the tour. In the end, everyone receives a certificate.

Still on Sunday, local and regional artists will be in the museum creating works in real time and interacting with the public. The activity “Sunday with Art” begins at 10:00 a.m. and aims to bring the visitors’ contact with painting, music, performances, crafts and sculpture.

On the same day, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., there is a workshop for the production of carnival masks inspired by some species of fauna present in the gardens of the Museum. The activity returns on Tuesday (13) at the same time.
