Paris now has 260 Wi-Fi access points and chargers

Paris, which seemed so lagging behind wi-fi technology in hotels and restaurants, regained ground in Mankind’s “race to the future.”
It has long been possible to connect in parks and public gardens of the city, but taking Wi-Fi access to central points like the Champs Elysées, Paris solves a major problem for its tourists. Now, locals and visitors can connect and even charge their cell phones while they enjoy the city.
Currently, Paris intra-muros has 260 Wi-Fi access points.
In fact, every day news reminds us that (as I say) Paris has always been the capital of modernity through the ages. In addition to the vast Wi-Fi network, bus stops in the city began to be equipped with USB jacks for recharging cell phones, not to mention the ecological and fun “We-bikes” found in train stations, airports and certain areas of recreation.
How to connect to the Paris Wi – Fi network
1. Look for Paris Wi-Fi logo signage. Municipal facilities equipped with a Wi – Fi access point have easily identifiable signs. The logo indicates that you are in an area called Oasis Paris Wi – Fi.
2. Turn on your laptop, pad or smartphone and select the PARIS_WI-FI network
3. Open your usual Internet browser and enter the address of any website. You will be automatically redirected to the access portal. Once on the service homepage, fill out the form, accept the general conditions of use of the service by clicking the checkbox. Then click “Connect.”
4. Ready, you can browse the Internet freely, post your photos, reply to your emails, check your WhatsApp, send and receive emails …
Attention:
• Each session lasts 2 hours and is renewable without special conditions, just repeat the connection process.
