Airline announces sales start for São Paulo-Rome route

 

The LATAM Airlines Group has just announced that it will start selling air tickets for the São Paulo-Rome route, which will be operated by LATAM Airlines Brazil. Rome will be the company’s seventh destination in Europe and its second in Italy after Milan and will be available to passengers from various regions of South America.
Another announcement informs that LATAM also plans to inaugurate flights on the São Paulo-Lisbon and São Paulo-Boston routes in mid-2018. These new operations are still subject to approval by the authorities and its commercial launch will be timely communicated by the company.
The new São Paulo-Rome route
Starting March 16, 2018, LATAM Airlines Brazil flight JJ8180 will depart from São Paulo / Guarulhos at 3:55 pm * on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays, and will land in Rome at 7:55 pm * the following day on a trip of 12 hours duration.
The reverse route will take place on flight JJ8181, which will depart from Rome at 10:00 am on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays, and will land in São Paulo / Guarulhos at 18:35 * the same day in a journey of 12 hours and 35 minutes of duration.
The operation will feature Boeing 767 aircraft, accommodating 191 Economy class passengers and 30 Premium Business passengers.
Initially, the new São Paulo-Rome route will be operated three times a week. From July 2018, the route will be operated five times a week.
