Airline extends flights from Minas Gerais to Northeast

Uberlândia and Belo Horizonte will receive 108 flights from Azul Viagens, Azul’s tour operator, in the next high season of summer. The number represents about 35% growth in the company’s operations compared to the summer of last year, between December 2016 and February 2017.
The novelty this year is that, for the first time, the miners will be able to leave from Confins to Teixeira de Freitas, a town in the interior of Bahia that gives access to Prado, Cumuruxatiba and Corumbau, on the Whale Coast. With the inclusion of airfare, transfer and lodging in the packages, tourists will have only one concern: enjoy the trip.
From Uberlândia, Azul Viagens will operate 20 frequencies during the summer season. This year, the route Uberlândia – Porto Seguro will win another flight, going from two to three operations a week.
Leaving the airport of Confins, tourists who close travel packages will have a new option to fly with Azul: Ilhéus, a municipality on the coast of Bahia. From the capital Belo Horizonte, miners will be able to reach other destinations that are much sought after by Brazilians and tourists at this time of year, such as Maceió, Natal, João Pessoa, Recife, Salvador and Caldas Novas.
