Airline reopens VIP lounge at Paris airport

On January 25, Air France reopened its VIP lounge located in Terminal 2, hall L of Paris – Charles de Gaulle airport. Fully renovated, the space brings options for the comfort and well-being of the passengers, such as: high-gastronomic restaurant, a detox bar, private saunas and showers. In addition to Business Class passengers, holders of Flying Blue Elite Plus cards can take advantage of the location.

The subtle balance between elegance, comfort and creativity, makes the space reflect the identity of the Air France brand. From the choice of materials and furniture to the vivid color palette of the environment, everything was designed so that the passengers had access to the true French concept of comfort and well-being.

The largest area dedicated to the well-being among all Air France spaces in the world
For the first time an Air France VIP Lounge is dedicating more than 550 m² to wellness services. The décor was fully designed to make the environment feel like the time stopped for the passengers. The wellness area offers:

  • “Instant relaxation” area: sun loungers and mini-suites for a great rest;
  • Bar detox: local offers selection of fine teas for relaxation;
  • Clarins Area: area dedicated to facial treatments with two private cabins;
  • Luxury saunas and showers: space with two private saunas and showers for passengers to cool off between flights.

Space of high gastronomy
The space highlights the best of French cuisine:

  • “La Table Gourmet”, a place for passengers to have a delicious experience with the high French gastronomy. Inspired by the country’s brasseries, the restaurant has an open kitchen where a chef prepares hot dishes, putting the finishing touch to the customers.
  • Self-service space, where passengers are invited to discover seasonal dishes and flavors, for all tastes with hot dishes, salads and confectionery options.
  • Selection of wines and champagnes chosen by Paolo Basso, voted the best sommelier in the world in 2013.

Digital art to ensure the best experience for passengers
In collaboration with French startups Superbien and Tetro, and the agency Brandimage, Air France has created an immersive and sensorial experience through digital art. Right at the entrance to the VIP Lounge is a series of screens that accompany passengers and take them to a world of travel with soft and pleasant lighting effects. At the center of the wellness area is a three-dimensional digital creation, which changes shape and color throughout the day. The VIP Room also has an “illuminated sky”, a style of chromatic therapy to relax the passengers.

Special Areas
In order to meet the needs of all customers, Air France’s new lounge also features:

  • “Le Club”: a private area, to spend time alone or with people close, in a cozy atmosphere.
  • “Le Petit Salon”: environment with low noise level, where smartphones need to be silenced, where you can relax.
  • Area “At your service”: location where the Air France team is available to book showers, saunas, changing seats or flights, among others.
  • “Air France Shopping”: space where the customer can buy exclusive objects of the Air France brand.More surprises for 2018
    In July this year, the second stage of the Air France VIP Lounge at Charles de Gaulle will be completed. In addition to surprises in the space “Air France Shopping”, there will also be a beautiful creation of the French designer Mathieu Lehanneur.
