Airline trades Boeings and increases offer by 35% in Guarulhos

British Airways has the largest offer of its Sao Paulo-London service starting this week. That’s because the company yesterday traded the B777-200 for a B777-300, which increases its seating capacity by 36% on the daily route. The 219 seats of the previous aircraft rise to 297 in the surrogate.

“Not only that. The new equipment brings more comfort and for the customers that arrive and depart from São Paulo, “said British-Iberia country manager in Brazil, Marta Sánchez.

IBERIA
Also in relation to São Paulo, the Spanish side of the group, ie Iberia, plans to bring its third cabin, Premium Economy, intermediate between executive and economic, on the routes to Madrid. The new class is expected to arrive in early 2018.

“I think it will be a very well accepted product for people who want to travel with a little more luxury and comfort,” Sánchez said.

DREAMLINER
It is noteworthy that yesterday British inaugurated the London-Rio de Janeiro-London service with the B787-8 Dreamliner, the most modern aircraft of its fleet, in addition to having increased its frequency in Rio de Janeiro from five to six weekly. Starting in May of next year, the flight becomes daily.
