Canada is the third country to guarantee this benefit with Brazil, as well as Australia and Japan. According to a survey by the Ministry of Tourism, the arrival of Canadians to the country should inject US $ 96.7 million into the Brazilian economy.

“We are extremely pleased with this step we are taking towards a more open and receptive country to foreign tourists. We have a myriad of attractions for the most varied tourist profiles and I believe that the facilitation of the issuance of visas is paramount to increase our competitiveness among the great international destinations, “said Tourism Minister, Marx Beltrão.

The visa is valid only for leisure and business travel. The process of validity, request, payment of fees, analysis, concession and issuance of the benefit have a duration of 72 hours, a positive point if compared to the 40 days previously required.
