AMResorts – Apple Leisure Group’s luxury manager – has announced the opening of a new resort in Cancun. Aiming for strategic growth and expansion of the Sunscape Resorts & Spas brand, Sunscape Star Cancun is scheduled to open on December 1, 2018, and will be the first of the brand located in the Mexican city.

Situated between Puerto Cancun and Playa Mujeres, the new resort is conveniently located just 30 minutes from Cancun International Airport. “This new Star concept will offer guests a high level of service and amenities, as well as the exclusive Unlimited-Fun signature,” says Ney Neves, Imaginator and AMResorts promotion in Brazil.

With a focus on family and friends entertainment, the Sunscape Star Cancun will include an exclusive area for kids to enjoy through Explorer’s Club for Kids (ages 3-12) and Core Zone Teens Club (teens ages 13-17 ), as well as excellent gastronomy with a la carte restaurants without reservations or buffet, bars and snacks at will.
