Located on the coast of Ceará, the Dom Pedro Laguna Beach & Golf Resort was once again nominated for the 2017 World Travel Awards in three different categories, including the title of the best resort in South America. The other nominations are: Brazil’s best resort and best beach resort in South America.
The awards ceremony will take place on September 9 at 10:00 PM, Brasília time, at the Hard Rock Hotel in Riviera Maya, Mexico and who will be representing Dom Pedro Laguna will be Marketing and Sales Director, Pedro Ribeiro.
This is the third indication of Dom Pedro Laguna, awarded in 2015 as: Best Resort in Brazil, Best Golf Hotel in Brazil and Best Beach Resort in South America. In 2016 it was considered the Best Beach Resort in South America.
Created in 1993 the World Travel Awards is the most prestigious international tourism award, considered by many the “Oscar” of the sector. Hotels and resorts that achieve this distinction are keen to value the title, since the winners automatically become a reference in the tourist market. The association with the Travel Awards brand is recognized worldwide as synonymous with luxury and quality, a recognition that all hotel ventures aspire to.
Dom Pedro Laguna is integrated in the Eco-resort Aquiraz Riviera, with its exclusive and unique golf course of 18 holes Ceará, in a total area of 35 hectares. Known as the “Tropical Venice” of Ceará Dom Pedro Laguna is a true paradise between the golf course and the quiet beach of Marambaia, and is located only 35 minutes from Fortaleza Airport.
In total there are 64 apartments, 22 Water Villas, 8 Presidential Villas and 8 Royal Villas, considered the most exclusive of the Resort, all with private swimming pool and some with direct access to the beach. The apartments and the water villas are interconnected through a navigable lagoon. Here guests can move from the electric boat from the reception to the pier near the villas, or from the pool to the restaurant.
