Cruise network announces themed ships and launches premium outlets for 2017/2018 season in South America

A pioneer in offering themed itineraries in South America, Costa Cruises announces its schedule for a 2017/2018 season. The maritime company holds, for the first time, the Fitness and Wellness cruises simultaneously. The 24th edition of the Fitness theme and the 16th edition of the well-being theme take place aboard the mega ship Costa Favolosa from February 25, 2018.

Departing from the port of Santos, the 24th Fitness and 16th Well-being cruise will have more than 150 activities and daily activities given by physical educators, nutritionists and health and wellness specialists. In six nights, the thematic route visits like cities of Búzios, Salvador and Ilhabela.

As a tradition says, the dancer and choreographer Carlinhos de Jesus is the highlight of the theme Dancing on Board, which in 2018, reaches its 15th edition. Considered the great party of the Brazilian dance hall, the cruise promoted more than 90 classes of the most diverse musical rhythms – Bolero, Soltinho, Salsa, Cha cha cha, Merengue, Forró, Zouk, Kizomba, Sertanejo, Bachata, Samba Gafieira, Samba Pagode , Samba in Foot, Tango and Milonga.

These different dance styles are coordinated by a time of 50 professionals, Brazilian and foreign teachers and renowned DJs, in dancing evenings, nocturnal dances and at thematic parties: White Night, Carnival, Country Party, Luau do Zouk, Tangos and Boleros and Gala Dance. Carlinhos de Jesus opens a schedule with a special samba lesson in the pool area.

The 15º Dancing on Board departs from Santos on March 3, 2018. In the west, the mega ship Costa Favolosa passes through Buenos Aires, with night right, and by the Uruguayan capital, Montevideo, before returning to the Santista port on 11 March.

Costa’s new unprecedented novelty for South America this 2017/2018 season is like two premium outlets aboard the Costa Fascinosa mega-ship. The Brazilian tourist has an opportunity to embark in Buenos Aires on February 25 and travel to necessary tourist destinations such as Montevideo, Porto Belo, Ilhabela and Búzios until reaching Rio de Janeiro, where the landing takes place without March 4.
