The 2018/19 season of Costa Cruises in South America is defined and with reserves available in the distribution channels. The shipowner revealed the arrival of the Costa Favolosa and Costa Fascinosa vessels to meet the cruzeiristas from December 10, with shipments in the cities of Santos (SP) and Rio de Janeiro in Brazil.
The Favolosa will have itineraries that pass through Salvador, Rio, Angra dos Reis (RJ), Ilhabela (SP), Búzios (RJ), Balneário Camboriú (SC), and also include Buenos Aires in Argentina and Montevideo in Uruguay, on trips of three to eight nights. The last cruise will be held on March 23, 2019.
Costa Fascinosa, meanwhile, will have eight and nine-night trips through the region of Prata, between Buenos Aires and Montevideo, with embarkation in Rio de Janeiro.
“Once again, we reaffirm our commitment to the Brazilian and South American market by bringing two mega vessels representing the best of the Italian style of sailing,” said Costa Rican Sales and Marketing Director for South America Dario Rustico.
DIFFERENTIATED ROUTES
With an eye on the theme cruises, Costa will have the Fitness & Wellness itineraries, leaving Santos on February 16 for the region of Prata, and Dancing on Board, departing from the city of São Paulo on March 10 to Búzios, Salvador and Ilhabela, both on board the Favolosa.
With Costa Fascinosa, the shipowner prepares premium outlets for the next season, guaranteeing freedom for the traveler “to remain at the landing destination as long as he wants,” according to the company itself.
The first will leave Buenos Aires on February 24, pass through Montevideo, Ilha Grande and Búzios until reaching Rio de Janeiro on March 3. In the second premium itinerary, the cruise ship will embark in the capital of Rio de Janeiro, visiting Ubatuba (SP), Ilhabela, Punta del Este (Uruguay) and, finally, Buenos Aires to disembark.
“The premium outlets offer the Costa guest more flexibility to know the attractions of the landing towns with attractive rates for both the air travel and the maritime part. We want to make Brazil’s access to our cruises as easy as possible, “concluded Rustico.
Reservations for the 2018/19 season are now available on Costa’s official website and also by the Costa Extra portal, exclusive to travel agencies.
