The Election of the Court of the Carnival of São Paulo 2018 happens today (25) and will define the King Momo, the Queen and the two Princesses of the folia of São Paulo. The coronation event will be held at the Grand Auditorium of the Anhembi Convention Center, starting at 8:30 p.m.
The Independent League of Samba Schools in São Paulo is the great partner in holding the event, and will have companies as sponsors.

Candidates to King Momo:
Marco Sales (“Marcão”) – 53 years old, metropolitan civil guard
Paulo César (“Babu”) – 48 years old, driver
Márcio Telles – 36 years old, actor
Durval Santos – 32 years old, quality monitor
David Silva – 22 years old, costume designer
Fábio Rocha (“Fábio Sorriso”) – 36 years, organizational psychologist
Queen’s Candidates:
Larissa Della Mônica – 23 years old, student
Juliana Manhães – 28 years old, teacher
Gabriela Lélis – 25 years, receptionist
Joyce Rocha – 29 years old, hairdresser
Nayah Custodio – 25 years old, singer
Kimberlyn Muriel (Kimberly) – 23 years old, model
Applicants to King Momo must have a minimum weight of 110 kilos and age between 18 years and 55 years. In the case of female candidates for the Queen, the age ranges from 18 to 30 years.

Exhibition Floods in São Paulo: photographic documentation on floods in the city held between the 19th and 20th centuries. The images emphasize the various floods and dedicate a special room to the glimpses of the flood of 1918. All images belong to the photographic collection of the City Museum of Sao Paulo.
