Rocket can take people to anywhere in the world in less than an hour

A trip between New York and Shanghai lasting 39 minutes, inside a rocket. Between the Big Apple and Paris, it would be about 30 minutes; to London, only 29 minutes. This is what entrepreneur Elon Musk, founder of the company Space Exploration Technologies Corporation (or just Space X), proposed during a lecture at the 68th International Astronautical Congress in Adelaide, Australia. His idea is that, in the near future, rockets can carry people between any cities in the world, all in less than an hour.
To achieve this feat, Musk would use the BFRs, rockets being developed by Space X, the same ones that he plans to use on manned journeys to Mars from 2024. With 40 booths, the model would be able to carry 100 people at a time, and travel up to 27,000 kilometers per hour, according to the BBC Brazil; it would be 106 meters high and 9 meters wide. “Most trips today considered long distance could be completed in less than half an hour,” said the entrepreneur.
“If we are going to places like Mars, why not Earth?” Elon Musk also said during the conference in Australia, before presenting an animation demonstrating how the trips and the time taken for each course would be; see below:

After its presentation in Australia, a curious post on the Instagram left open the possibility of the ship, in the future, joining the commercial airline industry. “The cost per seat should be roughly the same as the economy fares on a standard aircraft. I forgot to mention that,” Musk said.
An essential point for his concept to work would be that it is reusable. Currently, Space X uses the Falcon 9 rocket to perform space flights, both for NASA members and to launch satellites. The model would, however, be only partially reusable; with the BFR, which can be used several times, most of the cost of your travels would be just the fuel, which would allow it to be operated as a commercial passenger plane normally.
To support the development of the rocket, the path found by Musk, who also participates in companies such as Tesla and Paypal and dreams someday to colonize Mars, was to develop a single means of transport for various purposes and types of consumers. Thus, in addition to taking man to Mars and traveling within the Earth, BFR would be used to launch satellites, supply the International Space Station and other space stations, and perform missions on the Moon. “I believe we have discovered a way to fund- This is very important, “said the founder of Space X.
