The Official Airline Ratings? is the industry’s first rating program based solely on verified passenger feedback. APEX (Airline Passenger Experience Association) is a four-decade non-profit organization comprised of the world’s leading airlines, industry suppliers, large media groups, and aviation-related leaders dedicated to improving the experience of the passenger.

Aeroflot was recognized during the awards ceremony of the APEX EXPO Awards in Long Beach presented by Brian Kelly of The Points Guy website.

To compile Official Airline Ratings ?, APEX sought an industry neutral technology partner that would serve to collect verified, locally validated, and certified by external auditors. Leveraging the TripIt mobile app used by millions of air travelers worldwide, Official Airline Ratings? analyzed the return of passengers from 470 airlines worldwide through July 31, 2017. Airline travelers were validated by comparing confirmed itineraries and geographic location on mobile devices.

Only 12% of airlines worldwide have received Five Star status for 2018.

The airlines have been categorized as Global Airlines, Major Regional Companies, Cabotage Companies and Low Cost Operators. Aeroflot has been recognized in the category Global Airlines.

In 2016, Aeroflot was awarded the status of a Four-Star Company by the British consultancy Skytrax, the world’s leading authority on airline quality. Earlier this year, TripAdvisor travelers voted Aeroflot as the best airline in Europe and the best Business Class globally.
