British Airways flights will be on board with the participation of 10 famous and beloved artists in the UK and worldwide. But whoever thinks that the personalities will be seated in the next armchair is deceiving. As of September, Rowan Atkinson, the eternal “Mr. Bean “; Ian McKellen, the famous Gandalf in “The Lord of the Rings”; Chiwetel Ejiofor, of “Strange Doctor” and protagonist of “12 Years of Slavery”; Thandie Newton, from “The Pursuit of Happiness” and “2012”; Gillian Anderson, star of “X-Files”; Warwick Davis, “Star Wars”, “Willow” and “Harry Potter”; Gordon Ramsay, British chef; Rob Brydon, from “Would I Lie to You?” And “Games and Cheats and Two Smoking Pipes”; Jim Broadbent, from “Harry Potter”, “New York Gangs” and “The Journey”; Asim Chaudhry, from “People Just Do Nothing”; And singer-songwriter Jess Glynne will be the protagonists of the airline’s new security video.

In the film, which portrays the best of English humor, the personalities simulate an audition, directed by Asim Chaudhry as Chabuddy G, a character from People Just Do Nothing, while informing in an interesting and funny way the instructions and procedures that should be Adopted on board. According to Alex Cruz, President and CEO of British Airways, “It’s important that customers watch the video with safety recommendations, so we’ve chosen some of the best-known personalities in the country to catch the attention of the passengers and do it in a fun way.” The campaign also has two videos already available on Youtube that show the backstage of the recording and also a special version of the director.

In addition to the safety guidelines, the film encourages donation of funds to the airline’s global social project, “Flying Start,” in partnership with Comic Relief. “We have worked in partnership with Comic Relief since 2010 and our clients have already helped us raise £ 16.5 million for social causes. We hope that this audio-visual piece will help us to exceed the current target of 20 million pounds by 2020. ”
