Rivera, bordered by Santana do Livramento, is a destination best known by the gauchos. The department, of peculiar language, was very famous for its free shops and commerce, becoming a reference and destination of purchases. Located in the north of Uruguay, its capital will offer throughout the month of December to the residents and tourists an intense schedule in celebration of the holidays of year end.

The Magic Night: December 15, where the free shops and commerce of the capital of the same name will be open until dawn and offer mega discounts on their products. On December 20 and 21 Magic Night is repeated in Rivera Chica and President Viera.
And the Night of Lights: it happens on December 31 and will end the month of activities with fireworks. The lights show will be positioned in the building of the Intendance of Rivera, who takes the opportunity to welcome the new year.
