The 5th edition of the Jundiaí Italian Tourist Expresso is coming. In partnership with the operator Rizzatour de Turismo, CPTM is once again taking the trip that has already transported hundreds of tourists to the Italian culture. On April 28, the express, which leaves from Estação da Luz, will have a cultural itinerary with no additional cost, and a complementary itinerary in the city of Jundiaí that can be purchased with the tour operator.
The attractions will start at the embarkation platform at Estação da Luz at 7:45 am, with the reception made by the guides and artists of the Folkloristic groups Stella Bianca and Cia. Paulista de Artes. Interpreting the dances and songs typical of Italian and German cultures, musicians and singers will also enliven the journey.
The complementary Rural and Cultural itinerary, offered by Rizzatour, explores the influence of Italian immigration, present in the railway and in the region of the Circuito das Frutas. Includes guided tour to a winery to meet the wine production process, complete with tasting and shopping in the cellar, lunch at country restaurant and participation in traditional “Pisa grape”, the sound of Italian songs and tarantellas orchestrated by Jederson conductor and Stella Bianca Group.
The “treading of the grape” recalls the strong influence of the Italian ancestors, when the neighboring families gathered in the different regions of Italy to celebrate the harvest, preparation and production of the wine, packed with music, food and typical dances.
The tour of the complementary itinerary closes at 4:00 p.m., with the tourists back to the Jundiaí Station, to embark on the Tourist Express to the Light Station in the capital.
The trip lasts 1h30 and is carried out along the current 7-Rubi Line, the first railroad deployed in 1867 by the former São Paulo Railway. Tickets are sold at the Estação da Luz box office.
Remember that the passage of the CPTM, acquired at the box office of the Light Station or Mayor Celso Daniel Santo André station, contemplates only the outward trip and only on April 28 include the attractions that are present inside the train.
