Sensory experiences, exclusive therapies, vegan and organic products are just a few of the new features at The Spa at Renaissance, an urban wellness retreat. Located in the Renaissance São Paulo Hotel, the facilities and the menu of treatments have been carefully redesigned with the purpose of approaching the nature of the agitated urban life, working body, mind and soul together, in search of balance and well-being.
The choice of new products, focused on the concept of natural life and sustainable consumption, helps stimulate the growth of micro producers and reinforce the new SPA concept.
The products include fully natural and certified organic cosmetics. Among the therapies, one of the highlights is The Spa Experience, which uses totally organic and vegan products and has avocado as a base. Coconut oil, murumuru, sugar cane syrup and sugar are used together in an exfoliation throughout the body, which provides deep hydration and emollience, giving luminosity, softness and elasticity to the skin. To finish, the client receives a nutritious and relaxing massage.
Another highlight of the menu is the Ritual das Pindas. Originating from the ancient oriental therapies, the Chinese pindas carry salts and medicinal herbs that contain both relaxing and stimulating properties. They provide physical and mental relaxation, elevation of consciousness, increase concentration and connection with the interior, favoring energy balance. The therapy is performed alternating relaxing maneuvers with the use of pindas, followed by an exfoliation with salts and medicinal herbs and finished with a bath of hot water.
Another novelty was the three new massages signed by the therapist Renata França that were included in the menu. In addition, six days, which are Day SPA options, were created to provide a complete sensory experience. The Detox Journey, for example, includes arrival ritual with hot tea composed of a blend of relaxing herbs and following a body treatment consisting of an exfoliation with Himalayan salts, application of native Amazonian clay followed by lymphatic drainage . The journey also includes facial treatment and detox juice. It is a complete journey of detoxification, regeneration, nutrition and connection with nature.
The Spa is located on a wellness floor, consisting of a complete and modern fitness center (one of the largest in Latin America hotel), heated pool and Bytes, space with a concept of “real food” with healthy options , vegan, vegetarian, lactose free, gluten free, sugar free etc. The new menu, signed by the healthy lifestyle chef Rafaella Ramalho in partnership with the executive chef of the Gayber Silveira hotel, offers a full buffet breakfast and lunch, as well as delicious desserts made with fresh fruits, xylitol – a natural sugar extracted from beet – and without the use of preservatives.
