The Brazil Braços Abertos distance education platform, aimed at the professional qualification of people who work in the front line of tourism or want to enter the market, already counts on 7,412 enrolled in all the country. The region with the largest number of subscribers is the Southeast, with 3,195 registrations. Next comes the Northeast with 1,701, followed by the South with 1,248. The North and Central-West regions have 772 and 496 people, respectively, enrolled in the course offered by the Ministry of Tourism.
The MTur has been articulating with the municipalities the signing of the commitment term for the implementation of the program throughout the country. So far, 27 Federation Units and 74 municipalities have joined the platform, pledging, among other incentive measures, to provide the necessary structure so that students without internet access can participate in the course.
“The adhesion of the municipalities to the end of the commitment is fundamental so that we can reach the largest possible number of people interested in expanding their knowledge on topics related to tourism”, comments the Secretary of Tourism Qualification and Promotion of MTur, Teté Bezerra, reminding That the number of subscribers is updated daily.
ABOUT BRAZIL OPEN ARMS – This is a technological platform for distance learning and digital environment, offering 80 hours of online classes in the different modules: Introduction, Attendance, Communication and Transversal Themes.
The student can take the course by any device with access to the internet and will have video games and educational games. Those interested can access the address brasilbracosabertos.turismo.gov.br and register until September 30. At the end of the course, the professionals can obtain the certificate of completion – valued as extension – by the program site.
