With the reform of the Comodoro Magalhães Pier and in the receptive area in the Itaguá region, Ubatuba received four cruise ladders this season, which resulted in 10,246 passengers passing through the city.

Being a route of ships like Costa Fascinosa and MSC Musica, the flow of tourists increased in the city of the north coast of São Paulo and with that the economy also had its gain. From November 2017 until now, over R $ 4 million has been spent by cruzeiro in the local economy.

In the whole of the State of São Paulo, including also stops in Ilhabela and Santos, besides Ubatuba, only this season until the end of February, the sector recorded more than 465 thousand landings in the region, a turnover of more than R $ 260 million .
