Companhia de cruzeiros celebra 15 anos

“Fifteen years ago, a group of about a dozen of us were gathered in a very small office for our first business day. We had no office equipment and no ship, just a small team with some very big dreams. Today, I can not help but be surprised at what the team got. We have opened a new path and established a brand new segment in the Upper Premium market, which we now dominate. “With these words Bob Binder, President and CEO of Oceania Cruises, remembers the beginning of this company, now part of the NCLH holding company, which has made a rapid and effective trajectory of success.

Oceania, which began its history with only one vessel, Regatta, today has a fleet of six intimate and luxurious ships, four of which were for 684 guests – Regatta, Insignia, Nautica and Sirena – and two, Marina and Riviera, for 1250, adding more than 5,000 beds, carrying half a million guests, all in the Upper Premium class, which guarantees a unique passenger experience reflected in every detail: from the decoration to the exclusive Prestige Tranquility beds, to the exceptional gastronomy and the special attention to aesthetics, beauty and art on all ships. In Oceania all the details are important: from the natural flowers that decorate the various environments to the valuable authentic works of art in a collection of art valued at $ 5 million, everything is designed so that the whole atmosphere has the expected refinement. Lalique crystals decorate the staircase in the reception area, Versace porcelains serve meals.

Considered and repeatedly awarded as The Finest Cuisine at Sea, this is one of the company’s strengths that stems from the passion of the entire team and the legends and dreams of the chefs. All the gastronomy of Oceania is coordinated by the master chef Jacques Pepin and in the ships the gourmet cuisine is presented in all restaurants at no additional cost.

Innovative, Oceania Cruises has created countless unique and interesting product offerings such as 180-day world tours, Culinary Discovery Tours, inclusion of unique ports and destinations, and so many other innovations and enhancements throughout the fleet.

Still, according to Bob Binder, President and CEO of Oceania Cruises, all of this success would never have happened without a fabulous team. “People and passion are what make the difference for Oceania Cruises. Our guests realize this and comment whenever they sail; and our staff feel like family and love seeing all the smiling faces when they get on the ship ”

Founded in 2003, Oceania Cruises and acquired by Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings in 2014, arrives with its six ships to over 370 ports throughout Europe, Asia, Africa, Australia, New Zealand, South Pacific and the Americas
