Alitalia emerged as the most punctual airline in the world during January 2018, with 91.89% of its flights landing on the scheduled time, in a comparative report of punctuality among all international airlines, FlightStats, the application for flight monitoring and commercial aviation data collection.

In 2017, the company also achieved great success in the on-time reports released by FlightStats, proving its excellence with 82.78% of flights without delays. These numbers show the work done by Alitalia’s operations, which increased its percentage from 75.3% of spot flights in 2015 to 78.9% in 2016 and finally 82.78% in 2017 and 91.89% in January 2018 .
