French Airline plans to expand route in Brazil

Air France-KLM will expand the operation in the Brazilian market, with a new terminal in the Northeast in 2018. The third largest airline in Europe says that the demand is improving and that Gol already accounts for 25% of its passengers in the Brazil – three years ago this share was 7%.

Air France-KLM announces its third destination in Brazil as of 2018, in addition to São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro. The plan is to expand the offer of seats on flights linking Brazil and Europe by about 10%. Air France-KLM executives will choose between Fortaleza, Recife and Salvador.

About 25% of passengers flying today through Air France or KLM on routes with Brazil today are already Gol passengers. Three years ago, when the partnership began, that percentage was 7%
