Italy will have a 30m² booth at Festuris

Enit, the Italian National Tourism Agency, is back at the International Tourism Fair in Gramado (Festuris) with a 30 square meter booth. “We are very happy to return to Festuris, one of the most important events for tourism in Brazil. We are going to show our Italy that undoubtedly is in the heart of Brazilians when it comes to travel, “said Fernanda Longobardo, Enit’s head in Brazil. Brazil is one of the focal points of Tourism in Italy this year.

Enit expects an increase of at least 20% in the number of Brazilians visiting Italy in 2017 compared to last year. The data for 2016 have not yet been closed, but in 2015 the country received 873 thousand Brazilians, an increase of 14.4% compared to 2014. In the number of overnight stays, there were 2.2 million, a 16.9% increase in Relation to 2014.

Last year, the expenses of Brazilians in Italy grew 5.7% in relation to 2015. In addition, Tourism of Italy also promotes, this year, the so-called burgos, small villages that are close to big cities. This project is called #italianvillages, an opportunity to take a different trip, enjoying the great centers, but living well the local culture.
