Manaus has 69% of the means of lodging irregular

The capital of Amazonas received the inspectors of the Ministry of Tourism to inspect in their means of lodging. The lawsuit is part of Operation Summer Legal 2018 and seeks to inspect establishments that are without mandatory registration with the MTur and, consequently, in disagreement with the Tourism Law. During the action, finalized on Thursday (29), the agents visited 49 sites and notified 34 of them. The number corresponds to 69% of providers visited.

In addition, 15 inspection terms were issued, which represent the visit of the inspectors in places that are already closed or that have changed from CNPJ. The objective of the inspection is to sensitize the providers of tourist service on the importance of being regularized with the maximum body of tourism in Brazil, which is the MTur. In addition to bringing a number of benefits to the worker in the area, such as access to financing in official government banks and free training courses offered by the ministry, the regular provider also shows to his client that he is regularized.

“We are pleased with the work being carried out by the inspection and with the support of the sector, which has understood the importance of keeping its establishment formalized with the Ministry of Tourism. In addition to being able to count on credit lines and courses of qualification of the Folder, the enterprise benefits by giving even more confidence to its clients “, explains Larissa Peixoto, coordinator of supervision of the MTur.

Since it was started in September 2017, the operation has been in 19 cities: Brasília, Rio de Janeiro, Boa Vista, Maceió, João Pessoa, Palmas, Aracaju, Teresina, Fortaleza, Vitória, São Luís, Cuiabá, Goiânia, Belo Horizonte, Campo Grande, Natal, Recife, Salvador and Rio Branco. Until April this year, the inspectors will have visited the other Brazilian capitals.

Registering is easy: just go to the Novo Cadastur website, choose the item “I am provider” and fill in the basic data. The tool has been modernized throughout the country, is easy to understand and the provider will be able to make a quick registration. Remembering that the registration is mandatory and anyone who does not settle can be assessed and pay a fine of up to R $ 854 thousand.

According to the Tourism Law, registration is mandatory for tourism agencies, lodging facilities, tourism guides, tourist carriers, tourist camps, event organizers and theme parks. Started in September last year, the work has had an effect on Cadastur numbers. In December 2017, 64,591 registrations were identified, an increase of 14% over the same period of the previous year.
