Costa Cruises is one of the sponsors of the 1st edition of the Italian Film Fest, an event that unites the best of Italian cinema and audiovisual with the culture of São Paulo. The festival is organized by the Ministry of Culture, Government of the State of São Paulo and the Culture Secretariat of São Paulo, and will be held from October 10 to 21, in the city of São Paulo.

Throughout this period, visitors will have access to an extensive program that celebrates classic and contemporary Italian cinema; the great actors, authors and audiovisual technicians of Italy, as well as independent productions, documentaries, industrial videos, photographs and portraits of fashion, customs, gastronomy and Italian wine.

The Italian Film Fest takes place simultaneously in three addresses in the city of São Paulo, always between 4:30 and 8:00 p.m. The sessions are free. The opening ceremony of the festival is scheduled for tomorrow, October 10, and will feature important names from the Italian film industry: Christian de Sica, Silvia Verdone, Niccolò Petitto, Massimo Scaglione, Peter Marcias, Adriano Pintaldi, Alberto de Venezia and Roberto Stabile.
