After Hurricane Irma hit Florida last weekend, state airports had to close their doors and cancel flights. International terminals in Fort Lauderdale, Miami, Orlando and Tampa were among those who did not operate on Monday.
However, through their Twitter accounts, international airports in Miami and Orlando have announced the resumption of their activities tomorrow (12). The scale will be reduced and the status of each flight must be checked directly with the airline itself, but the good news is that operations gradually regain regularity. It is worth remembering that the hurricane has already lost its strength and is now in tropical storm status, despite all the damage caused.
See below the tweets of both airports (Tampa and Fort Lauderdale did not update their status until this note was published).
