Airline plans to expand routes through Brazil

The Executive Secretary of the Ministry of Tourism, Alberto Alves, received in Brasilia the leaders of Copa Airlines. These presented the company’s expansion plan for Brazil, which provides for new operations in the Northeast and South regions.

“It is important to have Copa Airlines in our main destinations. Aerial connectivity is fundamental to move internal tourism and allow the tourist to quickly reach its destination here in Brazil, “said Alves.

Brazil is the second largest market in the World Cup, behind only the United States. According to the general manager of the airline in Brazil, Emerson Sanglardo, the goal is to expand the connectivity to the main national tourist destinations already in the next five years.

The choice of the new destinations, possibly two from each region, has not yet been announced, but will be announced soon, according to Christophe Didier, global sales manager for the company.
