Airline presents campaign October Rosa 2017

Azul Linhas Aéreas initiated a series of actions that will be carried out throughout the month aiming at alerting Brazilian women about the importance of prevention and early diagnosis of breast cancer.
In the 2017 edition, Azul brings an unprecedented contribution to the social cause: in partnership with Hospital de Amor (Cancer Hospital of Barretos), the company will directly support the treatment of a group of 30 women from the Petrolina (PE) region with cancer of breast, providing air transportation to the institution’s or partner’s hospital when surgery is performed, through the Conexão Azul Rosa project.
“We are very happy with this initiative, because it has always been our desire to further strengthen our social performance in the October Rosa campaign. We wanted to go beyond our reporting role. We wanted to use the power of aviation to help connect people and purposes, “explains Claudia Fernandes, Director of Marketing and Communication.
And TudoAzul, Azul’s advantages program, has also embraced the project and will make an exclusive campaign for the Hospital de Amor to help transport these women’s escorts. Through a dedicated hot site hosted on the hospital page, everyone who signs up for the Azul program through this page throughout October will earn 1,000 courtesy points, as well as Hospital de Amor, which also will receive the donation of the same amount of points to each new member.
