Brazilian racing season attracts sailors and tourists to the coast of Santa Catarina

The arrival of the first sailors to the coast of Santa Catarina, the only stop in South America of the Volvo Ocean Race is scheduled for April 8, but the municipality of Itajaí already lives the climate of the event. This is the case of Marina Itajaí, located next to the Regata Village, a structure that will welcome the sailors and the stage of world competition. The nautical complex already registers 100% of occupation for the vacancies for boats available in the period of the event. They are navigators from various parts of Brazil and abroad who want to watch the Formula 1 of the Seas closely.

“The privileged location of Marina Itajaí, next to where the South American stage of the Volvo Ocean Race will take place, the oldest and most renowned world regatta, contributes to the attraction of the public who will come by boat to attend the event. Considered the largest regatta around the world, the 2017/2018 edition of the Volvo Ocean Race started in Alicante, Spain, in October of last year.
