The Pestana Hotel Group will inaugurate the “Pestana Porto – The Brazilian City Center & Heritage Building”, next Friday (23), in Porto (Portugal). The development has 90 rooms and suites, which will be distributed in thematic floors allusive to spices imported in the XV and XVI centuries during the Portuguese maritime expansion.

In addition to the hotel’s inauguration, the date will also mark the reopening of the historic Café Portuense, with more than 115 years of history, with the slogan “The best coffee is Brazilian.”

The hotel is located next to the Sá da Bandeira Theater and São Bento Station, named by Unesco as a World Heritage Site.

Pestana Porto – A Brasileira is the 7th unit of the Pestana Collection Hotels brand. The hotel will join the newly opened Pestana Amsterdam Riverside and the future Pestana Plaza Mayor in Madrid and the Portuguese Pestana Palace Lisbon, Pestana Vintage Porto, Pestana Cidadela Cascais and Pestana Palácio do Freixo.
