Summer is the best season to catch a good beach. Season of heat and strong sun. With celebrities it’s no different! The artists take advantage of the holidays to enjoy a beach through Brazil. Many travel to Fernando de Noronha or Paraty, but a new tourist destination is emerging as preferred of many: Corumbau.

Corumbau is a district in the extreme north of the city of Prado, south coast of Bahia. Its waters have a crystalline blue hue that very much resembles the color of the Caribbean. The most famous beach is Ponta do Corumbau, surrounded by indigenous villages and riverside population that works and takes care of the inns and restaurants of the region. On the other side of the river is the village of Caraíva, in Porto Seguro.

This is the destination that is attracting more and more famous every year. In January, the actor Thiago Rodrigues was already spotted there. Last year was the also actor Rafael Vitti who spent the holidays in the place. In the margins, names like Sandra Annenberg and the player Robinho maintains houses in the region to enjoy the free time.

For those who want to know this paradise, it is very easy, it is possible to reach Prado by the airport of Teixeira de Freitas. A round-trip from downtown to the district is often the preferred choice of tourists.
