I believe it is a sum of factors that includes the economic crisis and a profile that likes promotions, which values ​​the economy at the tip of the pencil. Because it’s a fact: here in Tocantins the traveler plans, researches, checks promotions and pays for their vacations in advance, “he says, reporting that in just 15 days in February, he has sold over 100 packages for Oktoberfest 2018.

At the other end of the map of Brazil, in Rio Grande do Sul, the behavior is not different from that identified in Tocantins, and the consumer seeks to anticipate the payment of the trip, avoiding the accumulation of debts. “It’s practically a travel saver. We feel an increase in the public that our agency seeks to close and anticipate the payment so that, on the date of travel, the package has already been 100% paid, leaving the concern with new investments only for the expenses in the destination, “says Liciane Rossetto , managing partner of the 24h Travel Office, in Porto Alegre (RS).

When questioned by deadlines that the consumer may consider a good promotion, the executive says that there are groups that have already closed Carnival 2019 for a cruise along the coast of Brazil. “For cruises, we’ve already closed groups that started paying, taking the trip before it happens. In the case of air travel, we recommend to the consumer to try to close six months in advance, because we get some promotions in the air fares, “says the executive.
