Enjoying the famous night of Monaco

Small and vibrant cultural center, Monaco’s nightlife is as lively as any other time of day. Bands and DJs command the dance floors and atmospheres of nightclubs, bars and pubs, packed with locals and travelers who want to make the most of their holiday in the principality. There is everything a little bit within the confines of the country and as the addresses are so close you can make your own pub crawl and get to know more of a place on the same night.

Stars’N’Bars is a great choice when the sun starts to set. American-themed and overlooking Port Hercule and its yachts, the three-story complex has a décor tied to the sporting universe, with even a Formula 1 car hanging from one of the walls. It is a popular destination for pilots and Grand Prix teams, as well as friends and families visiting Monaco. Burgers and Mexican, Indian and Asian cuisines are served, as well as vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options. Leaving from there, just 150 meters away, is La Rascasse, a bar with live music, DJs, drinks and portions. The place has open spaces covered and different themed depending on the day of the week, such as a salsa night on Thursdays and a battle of DJs once a month.

There are several nightclubs options for those who want to spend the entire night dancing. The Jimmy’z, one of the most sophisticated of the principality, is frequented by celebrities and bank account owners stuffed, who are attracted by the hectic atmosphere, renowned DJs and exceptional design of the house. The huge space is divided between an enclosed dance floor and an elegant open-air lounge. There is also a VIP cabin called Boom Boom Room above the dance floor, designed by the famous German designer Philipp Plein. Its trademark, a giant skull covered with Swarovski crystals, does not go unnoticed. Who performed there this last European summer, inclusive, was the Brazilian DJ and worldwide success Alok.

Besides Jimmy’s, there’s also Le Twiga. The Japanese / Italian restaurant turns into a chic ballad from 1am in the morning, frequented by show business stars, fashion and sports universe, featuring international DJs, musicians, dancers and artists. In the summer months, the seafront terrace is open and incorporated into the dance floor and restaurant.

For blues and jazz fans, the renowned Bar Americain, at the Hôtel de Paris, has an elegant ambiance and perfect for a relaxing evening with live music accompanied by a refined drink or champagne. Fans of traditional Irish pubs are not going to be disappointed either by visiting Mc Carthy’s Pub with a fun atmosphere, weekend pop / rock shows and live soccer broadcasting.
