The Carnival of Gramado promises to amuse the carnival nights of the revelers in the Serra Gaúcha during four days of much revelry and fun, between the days 9 and 12 of February. In this year’s edition, the feast features highlight La Fantasia, held on February 11 (Sunday) in the auditorium Hortênsias da Expogramado, which has capacity for about 800 people. The other nights will be promoted and packed by clubs in the city. They are: Club Minuano today (9) and second (12) and Recreio Gramadense on Saturday (10). The animation of the four nights will be in charge of the band Famma Festa Show.
The secretary Municipal Secretary of Culture, Allan John Lino points out that “Fantasy Lawn has a tradition of 22 years. The idea is to make the rescue of the Carnival ball. We want a family Carnival. More than an event for the tourist, the Lawn Fantasy is an event for the community “. According to the Secretary, the objective of the event is to rescue the carnival costumes: “it is part of popular culture. It’s one of the most democratic events where all ages, races, creeds and genres dance the same song. ”
It is estimated that more than four thousand revelers will attend the four days of celebration. The blocks Quereu Bebeu, Transvestite Old Men, 100 Judgment and Sópranóis will cheer some nights of Carnival programming. Allan John Lino points out that “this year, we ended with outsourcing and hirings were made by the secretary herself.”
The Gramado Carnival is held by the City Hall of Gramado, through the Secretary of Culture and has the support of Gramadotur, which provides the venue for the party. The event also has the support of the clubs and blocks of the municipality.
