First Pestana Collection hotel outside Portugal, Pestana Amsterdam Riverside opens its doors on January 15 in one of the most coveted regions of the city, on the banks of the Amstel River, and meets the strategy of the Pestana Hotel Group to plant its flag in the main capitals of the world.With 154 apartments, the development is destined to the leisure travel market, but with great chances of attracting guests from the corporate segment given its location and infrastructure.

Settled as a historic hotel in the Luxury category, it is a member of the prestigious Preferred Hotels & Resorts Luxury Collection. Investment of 35 million euros, projects occupancy of 60% in the first year of operation.

With active participation in the history of Amsterdam, the building that houses the hotel was the old Town Hall and Historic Archive of the city of Amstel, where were famous documents like the records of Rembrandt's wedding, written by the artist himself. According to Sofia Fernandes, manager of the Group, the hotel brings to Amsterdam the "Portuguese welcome way", which translates to the well-received welcome of the Portuguese in general and the Pestana Hotel Group in particular.

Design of a Dutch architecture studio Villa Nova, the hotel blends a harmonious combination of classic and modern. Pestana Amsterdam Riverside also has a restaurant and a renowned bar, signed by the prestigious master chef Peter Lute, a 250 m2 Wellness Center, an indoor pool, a sauna and Turkish bath, a gym and 10 function rooms for meetings and events.
