Jalapão: the new destination beloved by Brazilians

With beautiful natural landscapes and plots that surround the viewer, soap operas have daily space in Brazilian homes. Turkey, the United States, Chile, India, Morocco, Italy and several other international destinations have already been success scenarios and, in recent years, national landscapes have begun to be highlighted on the canvases. Jalapão, in Tocantins, was the stage chosen by directors and writers for one of the most recent productions, and the destination entered the list of travelers from all over Brazil.

Packages headed for Tocantins pass through Palmas, the state capital, and Jalapão, where tourists will have an experience different from any other. “Flytour Travel provides travelers with a unique experience of nature and wildlife. In the products the lodging is in tents on the banks of the New River, shaded by cashews and mangabeiras and with ecological electricity and heating. It’s a way to make the most of the destination, which is what people have been looking for, “says Daniel Firmino, director of national products and travel agency operations.

Hiking, canoeing, wild beaches, photo safari, sunsets high in the dunes and contemplating the brightness of the stars around the campfire are some of the activities offered at the destination. “It is a region where nature remains intact, which allows people to connect even more with the fauna and flora. Jalapão is proof that national destinations have natural landscapes as beautiful as international destinations, “said Michael Barkoczy, president of the agency.
