Cadillac Hotel & Beach Club reopened in Miami Beach
The hotel reopened in March this year after a multimillion-dollar renovation. The 70-year-old oceanfront resort is in the heart of Mid Beach, Miami Beach, at 39 Collins Avenue. Originally designed by renowned Art Deco architect Roy France in the 1940s, the Cadillac Hotel & Beach Club becomes part of Marriott International’s Autograph Collection, a diverse portfolio of more than 135 independent properties around the world that share vision, design and art. With lush views of the Atlantic Ocean and the city, the new hotel features 357 suites, two restaurants, two swimming pools (one for adults and one for the whole family) and beach service. Bill Rooney Studio, responsible for interior design, sought inspiration from the glamor and sophistication of the 1940s European Riviera to create a modern resort in keeping with the building’s aesthetic aesthetics. Israel and Sagamore Hotel Miami Beach celebrate 70 years together
In 2018, both the country and the hotel turn 70 years old. To celebrate the date, they organized a special exhibition, entitled PEACE 70, which will be open to the public from March 8 to May 30. The event is attended by renowned and emerging artists and the “Passage to Israel”, an exclusive photography exhibition that highlights the beauty of the country through the eyes of 20 photographers from different cultures. Zemack Contemporary Art, Tel Aviv, will offer a new perspective on contemporary art, created by Israeli and international artists. The hotel, in turn, partnered with HistoryMiami Museum to display historic photographs of Miami Beach from the 1950s. PEACE 70 will also exhibit works that honor the creativity and power of established and rising Israeli artists, as well as industry leaders in Miami and Israel.
