Teresópolis, the highest altitude city in the State of Rio de Janeiro and located at the top of the Serra dos Órgãos, is part of the Rio + 3 guide. It is a promotional material distributed by Setur-RJ / TurisRio, which presents tourist destinations within three hours of the capital. At 75 km from the center of Rio, the tourist town is in the ranking of Expedia, an online travel agency, among other attractions with: Pedra do Sino trail, Mirante do Superber and Pico Dedo de Deus.

“The award will be fundamental for the municipality to strengthen nationally and, especially, internationally,” says Nilo Sergio Felix, Secretary of State for Tourism in Rio de Janeiro.

Among the destinations listed by Expedia are the city of Natal, in Rio Grande do Norte; Olinda, in Pernambuco; Guarapari, in Espírito Santo; Ponta Grossa, in Paraná and São Miguel dos Milagres, in Alagoas.
