The Federal, State, Municipal or District Public Administration bodies and entities that are requesting financial support from the Ministry of Tourism to carry out tourism infrastructure works and events may already enroll the projects in the Federal Government System of Agreements for the technical analysis of the proposals indexed. The Siconv website will be open until February 22.

“This is the moment that the managers have to plead the support of the MTur for structuring of the municipalities and realization of their celebrations. This work in partnership is fundamental to develop destinations, to attract more tourists, generate employment and income for the country, “said Tourism Minister, Marx Beltrão.

The resources to support works and events will come from the budget schedule of the Ministry of Tourism. Projects with the same objective supported by parliamentary amendments, of a tax nature, are not included in this stage of registration.

INFRASTRUCTURE PROJECTS – Since the creation of the Ministry of Tourism, the Portfolio has already allocated more than R $ 9 billion for infrastructure works. Projects range from major works, such as bridge constructions and improvements to highways, convention and event centers, to interventions in plazas and other attractions, as well as tourist signs.

TOURISM FLOW GENERATOR EVENTS – To register the project, the public agencies must prove the traditional character and well-known popular and free knowledge of the event. They will be considered events of municipal, state or regional scope, formally recognized by the official organ of tourism of the state and that have been realized exclusively by public organs for at least three editions.

The MTur supports caches of artists and music bands previously registered in the ministry; the dissemination of the event in radio, television, newspaper and magazine; and the rental of generator, chemical toilet, tent and stage.
