Water park ensures carnival fun

Carnival is one of the most anticipated holidays of the year and attracts thousands of people to meet new destinations in places that seem unusual. For those who want to enjoy the date in a different destination, Thermas dos Laranjais, in Olímpia, in the interior of São Paulo, is an option.

The main tourist attraction in the city has prepared a special program for those who want to enjoy the party. During the four days of the extended holiday, the park will offer axé lessons in its swimming pools, as well as a samba show for visitors.

Among the more than 55 attractions, tourists can also enjoy the Aquatic Rollercoaster, unique in Brazil and one of the few in the world, the Asa Delta – where tourists descend from a height of 18 meters in double buoys – Everest and Kamikaze – the two highest attractions in the park – Surfmaster – a half moon surf course for those who want to take a risk in sports – among others.

In addition to the extreme toys, there are some attractions designed exclusively for the fun of children up to six years old like the children’s mini-park where they can have fun with more than 15 water attractions including the Hula Hula – the first attraction to be built in the Thermas of Laranjais – the Children’s Bubble and small size replicas of the park’s main attractions.

For those who want to get away from the hustle and bustle and relax a little, it is possible to take advantage of the Resurfacing Pools – where people do not sink – one of the Waterslides with waters that surround the 40ºC or the Pool of Stones for a moment of relaxation and massage.

Apart from the program prepared by Thermas, the city of Olympia announced that the carnival of the city will feature the traditional parade of samba schools, as well as shows with trio electric and matinee for children.

The park will run during the days of the carnival from 8am to 8pm. The ticket price between February 9 and 14 will cost R $ 120 (whole) R $ 60 (half-entry) and R $ 10 (children 0-6 years).
