Water parks to enjoy the end of summer in São Paulo

Summer ends on March 20, but until then, the season promises sunny days and high temperatures. So the tip is to take advantage of the days off at one of the many water parks that the state of São Paulo has to offer. Check out a selection below:

Thermas Water Park – São Pedro

Less than a two-hour drive from Sao Paulo, Thermas Water Park has a wide range of attractions, including the state’s largest wave pool, a life-size pirate ship, a children’s area with playful and colorful toys, all types and dozens of pools – among them, the thermal waters, perfect for relaxing. The novelty for the season is an incredible volcano 15 meters high, with waterfalls and hot pools. The structure of the park is complete, with restaurants, snack bar, ice cream shop, shops, free parking and a lodging option, Pousada Chalés do Thermas. Consolidated as one of the ten most visited water parks in Latin America, Thermas Water Park is located in the São Pedro Resort, part of the tourist route of Serra do Itaqueri, which has cities such as Brotas, Águas de São Pedro and Piracicaba.

Wet’n Wild – Itupeva

Located between São Paulo and Campinas, Wet’n Wild is one of the largest water parks in Brazil, with a total area of ​​160,000 m². There are 25 attractions, classified as mild to radical. There are enclosed, individual slides with buoys and in group, plus the wave pool, children’s play area, lazy river and more. The park also has an infrastructure with snack bars, bathrooms, locker rooms, changing room, rest area and ample parking.

Hot Beach – Olympia

Opened in 2017, the Hot Beach brings together attractions for the whole family, from the more tranquil to the radical slides. Its swimming pools are supplied with naturally warm water, always in the 32 ° C range. There are slides, various children’s toys, lazy river and a movie beach to feel on the coast even in the interior of São Paulo, with a wave pool, soft and white sand and hundreds of coconut palms. Visitors can also take advantage of an air-conditioned food court, hamburgers and bars, as well as staying at the complex’s resorts: the Thermas Park Resort & Spa and the Celebration Resort Olympia.

Thermas dos Laranjais – Olimpia

One of the most famous water parks in the country, Thermas dos Laranjais has more than 50 attractions, many of them unique and all supplied with warm natural waters. Among them are two wave swimming pools, a complex with 12 water slides, surfing track, children’s playground, resurgence pool, giant bubble, salt water pool, lazy river and the world’s longest aquatic roller coaster with 360 meters of lenght. Its structure also has 32 restaurants and snack bars, as well as changing rooms and more.

Magic City – Suzano

Very close to the city of São Paulo, Magic City is a leisure complex with water park, amusement park, a large green area and own inn. Among the attractions of the water park are water slides of various types, children’s playgroung, indoor and heated pools and the wave pool.

Castle Water Park – Cesário Lange

150 km from São Paulo, the Castle Aquatic Park has a complete structure, with diverse attractions – from the infantile ones to the most radical – like slides, lazy river, wave pool, thermal pool and a replica of a real beach with sand and salt water. There is food court, snack bars, kiosks, ice cream parlor, changing rooms and parking.

Vale Encantado – Biritiba-Mirim

With a million square meters, the Enchanted Valley is not only a water park, but a complete leisure complex for the whole family. In addition to the children’s water park, pools and water slides, there are outdoor areas, soccer field, grills, farm, paintball, horseback riding, sport fishing, springs and caves. It is 70 km from the São Paulo capital, in the Alto Tietê region.
