Company launches flights to Freetown, capital of Sierra Leone

Turkish Airlines, which flies to more destinations in Africa, is another milestone in its international expansion, with the launch of flights to Freetown, capital of Sierra Leone. With operations for cities in Accra, Lagos, Bamako, Conakry, Dakar, Abidjan, Cotonou, Douala, Yaounde, N’Djamena, Ougadougou, Niamey, Cape Town, Johannesburg, among others, Freetown becomes the company’s 52nd destination in Africa.

Flights will be held twice a week, starting on February 24, with departures on Tuesdays and Saturdays.

The connection will be made from Istanbul International Airport, Atatürk and Lungi International Airport, via Ouagadougou. The return flight will also provide passengers departing from Sierra Leone with other destinations such as London, Dubai, Paris, Frankfurt, Muscat, Copenhagen, Stockholm, Brussels, Berlin, Amsterdam, Vienna, Asmara, Hamburg, Tel Aviv, Düsseldorf, Milan, among others.
