Montevideo is elected the 3rd best city in Latin America to live in

According to a study conducted by the British magazine The Economist, Montevideo is the third best city to live in Latin America receiving 79.1 points from a limit of 100 established by the vehicle of communication, the front is Buenos Aires, leading the ranking with 82 , 4 and Santiago de Chile second with 80.7.

The study was based on items such as economic stability, quality of public and private institutions, environment, education, infrastructure and health. The survey also states that 98 of 140 cities surveyed have fallen in their “habitability” rating since 2007. However, the latest annual index shows a significant increase in overall life for the first time in ten years.
