On January 6, Costa Luminosa, from Costa Cruises, left Venice for the 2018 edition of the “Around the World” cruise. In 106 days, guest Costa visits the most wonderful thing on the planet in a trip that will cross three oceans and 41 international destinations before returning to the Italian city on April 22.

From the port of Quetzak in Guatemala, for example, Costa can take a plane to visit the archaeological site of Tikal, one of the largest cities of the ancient Mayan civilization, and visit its ruins while walking along the rainforest trails.
The cruise includes a stop in the city of Los Angeles where guests can stroll along the Walk of Fame and stroll through the 2,500 bronze stars that honor celebrity names from showbiz and go through Universal Studios’ sets.
